Was Sie brauchen
- YouTube Kids App
- Ihr Eltern-Google-Konto
- Zeit, jedes Video von Hand hinzuzufügen
Einrichtung in YouTube Kids
| Funktion | YouTube Kids | WhitelistVideo |
|---|---|---|

Here's how to approve YouTube playlists for kids, and why YouTube's own controls can't approve a playlist. Stick around for a better, more secure way to set it up.
Approving a playlist means your child can watch the videos in one playlist you choose, without opening the whole channel. The playlist must be public or unlisted.
Parents do it when a channel mixes great videos with ones they'd rather skip, or a teacher shares a lesson playlist.
With YouTube alone, the closest is YouTube Kids: the app, your parent Google account, and time to add each video by hand.
In YouTube Kids, choose Approve content yourself. You can add channels, collections, or single videos, but not a playlist from YouTube.
Here's the catch. A lesson playlist means adding every video yourself in YouTube Kids, and it only works inside that app.
In WhitelistVideo, open Playlists and add a public or unlisted playlist. Your child can watch those videos, while the rest of that channel stays blocked.
Open any playlist to see its videos, and tap sync to pick up new ones the creator adds. Private playlists can't be approved.
WhitelistVideo, a SourceForge Top Performer in parental control software, is one of the best parental control apps for YouTube.
