Pricing Questions
Why per-child pricing?
We believe you should only pay for what you use. Families with one child shouldn't pay the same as families with five.
Is there a family plan with unlimited children?
Not currently. Our per-child model ensures fair pricing for all family sizes.
Do you offer discounts for multiple children?
The per-child rate stays the same, but annual billing saves you 16.67% per child.
Can I mix plans? (e.g., Basic for one child, Premium for another)
Not currently. All children on your account share the same plan tier.
Billing Questions
When will I be charged?
Monthly plans charge on the same date each month. Annual plans charge once per year.
What if my payment fails?
You'll receive an email notification. You have 7 days to update your payment method before your account downgrades to Free.
Can I change my billing date?
Billing dates are set when you first subscribe and cannot be changed.
How do I get a receipt?
Go to Billing → View Billing History → Click any invoice to download PDF.
Plan Change Questions
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes! Changes take effect immediately with prorated charges or credits.
What happens to my settings if I downgrade?
Your child profiles and basic settings are preserved. Premium-only features (AI, categories) become inactive but settings are saved if you upgrade again.
If I cancel, do I lose my data?
No. Your account becomes a Free plan. All profiles and settings are preserved (within Free tier limits).
Feature Questions
What's the difference between channels and categories?
- Channels: Specific YouTube channels you approve (e.g., "Numberblocks")
- Categories: Types of content AI allows (e.g., "Educational", "Science")
What does AI content analysis do?
AI analyzes each video before your child watches it, checking for age-appropriateness and flagging concerning content.
